Simply put we move music or data from one media to another. If you have records and wish to put them onto a CD or even a DVD. WE CAN DO IT Record speeds of 16. 33. 45 & 78 can be copied. Reel to Reel tape or cassettes can be copied. Tracks from CD can be moved onto DVD. Photographic slides can be copied onto a CD / DVD. |
What we do |
We all know that the old records can be scratchy BUT if the records are in a reasonable condition we can repair the sound after it has been recorded. (A reasonable attempt will be made we do this free of charge for you) Of course, this takes a little time but in the case of a family heirloom some things are worth spending a little time on. Each piece of music we record is recorded as a SINGLE track as most of your CDs are AND each track has a tag encoded into the music which when played say on a computer the track name and artist will show up. As you may know, a lot of car stereos have the ability to play MP3 tracks. We can fit over two hundred tracks onto a standard CD (depending on track length and recording quality) for your driving pleasure. You may have a some home movie footage from your DVD Camera that you would like transferred to a DVD or even converted to MPEG4 for the Ipod or UTube. WE CAN DO IT We can convert movie footage i.e. AVI to MPEG2 and many other formats. To find out more just send an email to us via the contact us tab. Our service includes returning your records fully cleaned labelled. CDs and DVDs will be thoroughly tested. Anything to do with copying music from one media to another. WE CAN DO IT While this next idea is rather sad, it is a fact that we all face at one time or another. When someone passes away we try to think of ways to express ourselves and the life that person has led. We can make a CD of this persons favourite music for you and if you have photos we can make up a slide show to be shown on an overhead projector and copies for all the family to keep in memory of. In a brighter vein weddings are also a time of many pictures and where special music is required. If you think of a way we can help you..... A little about the writer. My name is Peter and I am a volunteer radio announcer at a local part time radio station called Village Radio We broadcast on 1368 KHTZ AM Weekdays 10am to 4pm and Weekends 9am to 5pm. Our target audience is any person that likes a mix of music mainly from the 1930s & 40s and creeping up to the 60s. We are a museum station and run by volunteers relying only on donations as we do not advertise. As we understand it we have to move from the AM Band soon and would apreciate any Working FM equipment you could thnk of. The station has been working on this frequency for over 25 years using 1940 & 50s valve equipment which you may apreciate is getting quite hard to maintain now. We own a Collins 1Kw transmitter which is not working at the moment so we are using a 1Kw Toshiba on permanent loan from Gisborne Radio New Zealand.
